Years spent competing in roller hockey, dek hockey, and slow pitch softball gave Brandon and Nick firsthand experience with the realities of the custom apparel world. From unreliable suppliers and limited customization options to outdated ordering processes and inconsistent quality, they experienced the same frustrations many teams still face today. Those experiences ultimately shaped the vision behind Sublimation Kings: a modern custom apparel company focused on premium materials, bold design, flexible ordering, and a smoother experience for teams of every size. Built by athletes who lived the team experience themselves, the brand was created to help players take the field, rink, or court with pride and confidence season after season.

Brandon’s early jersey designs for his own teams quickly drew attention from players across the country, while Nick saw firsthand how the custom apparel industry could be improved. For years, Nick pushed the idea of starting something together until Brandon finally said yes, setting the wheels in motion for something far bigger than either originally imagined. Legend has it the final pitch happened in a dark alley somewhere, with cards on the table, questions asked, doubts raised, and eventually put to ease. Somehow, against all odds, the idea came to life, and Sublimation Kings was born.

When they’re not building uniforms, you’ll likely find them playing rec sports, roller hockey, slow pitch softball, hiking through America’s national parks, catching baseball and hockey games, or planning their next trip while dreaming up strange new jersey ideas. Nick is loyal to Pittsburgh sports: Penguins, Steelers, and Pirates, while Brandon backs Philadelphia with the Flyers, Phillies, Sixers, and Eagles. Despite the rivalry, they’ve remained close friends and business partners for decades, building a lifelong bond through creativity, teamwork, and loyalty.
